Our cookie policy and how we use them

The short version: we only set the cookies the product needs to work — signing in and remembering your language. No ad trackers, no analytics cookies, nothing to opt out of.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Related technologies — such as your browser’s local storage — serve similar purposes. This policy covers both.

2. What we use

Crowdhail uses only what the Service needs to function. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics cookies.

  • Authentication cookies — keep Operators signed in to their account. Set only when you sign in; without them, the app cannot work.
  • Preference cookies — remember your language (for example, NEXT_LOCALE).
  • Local storage — remembers small on-device details, such as whether an event page’s opening animation has already played for you, and in-app tour progress for Operators.

3. What we do not use

  • no advertising or retargeting cookies;
  • no sale or sharing of cookie data with data brokers;
  • no third-party analytics trackers on event pages — guests can visit an event page without being profiled.

4. Managing cookies

Because everything we set is essential to how the Service functions, there is no cookie-consent banner to configure. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; if you block authentication cookies, you will not be able to sign in to an Operator account. Guests can view event pages with cookies blocked.

5. Changes and contact

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies — for example, analytics — we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it. Questions: clayton@okgn.ai.
